Class was fine yesterday. Graphic Design 2 was okay. We worked on our first assignment. It’s our “identity” logo or whatever. I’ll post when mine is finished. Got lots of (good) suggestions during critiques, so I must figure out how to do things. Electronic Imaging made my head spin. Our first assignment is a doozy. We have to make a realistic scene using textures. I’ll be working on it forever, I swear. TOO MANY ASSIGNMENTS. My head will explode and we’ll see pieces of Illustrator and Photoshop scattered about. But I learned how to use layer masks and blending masks. Totally psyched to start using them. I’m so nerdy.
I’m going to see Halloween with Blaine and Cody tomorrow. YAY! *horror freak* I’m not looking forward to getting up at 7:30 to go to the computer lab tomorrow. I can foresee a nap sometime after I get home. Lab time makes me sleep. Sad. I also need to go to the bank and cash a couple of checks and go by the gas station.
The best news is MY CAR IS FIXED! Yes, that does call for all caps because it’s been a piece of poo for THREE YEARS. The problem? The spark plugs. No joke. That was all that needed to be fixed. Too bad the stupid people that did the tune up ages ago didn’t change them like they were supposed to. Bah.
I was just reading about progesterone cream and I realized I totally could have used this a couple of weeks ago. Normally, I don’t have cramps all that bad, but it was pretty bad last month. Anyway, the cream is supposed to help prevent them among many, many other things. It’s only $24.95, and if I have cramps this month like I did last month, it would probably totally worth buying. We’ll see.
I’m so tired. I think I’ll be calling it a night early.

Everyone knows that the holidays - whether it’s Thanksgiving or Christmas or even Mother’s Day - have a way of sneaking up on you. Every year for Christmas I like to send out cards to my friends, but some years it just doesn’t seem to happen. First, there’s the problem of finding the right card, and if I go to the store, it always seems like I find the very last package of the cards I like. Naturally, I usually need two packages, so I usually have to get the cards I really like and settle for another package that I don’t really care for as much.
However, this year I think the tide might be changing. At TinyPrints.com you can create your own custom photo Christmas cards. All you really have to do is pick the style you like, select your photo, add your text, and any special instructions you might have. Along with your cards, you can get envelopes to match. It’s simple and easy and the perfect way to greet your friends and family this year for Christmas without too much work.
Along with Christmas cards, you can create your own birth announcements, invitations, and thank you cards. This is the perfect way to send things out in style. Not only is it simple and easy, the prices are reasonable and well worth it. So the next time you need cards, make sure you stop by TinyPrints.com and see what they have to offer.

I think I can say my weekend was well and perfectly boring. I didn’t do much of anything worthwhile. Not that I’m really complaining. Sometimes it’s just nice not to do anything. Grandma and I went to the grocery store on Friday evening. We went by the Dollar Store down the road from it first to buy some other stuff, but they didn’t have any carts in the store, so we didn’t end up getting everything we needed.
We still need to go back to the store. I need to get cat litter and cat food for Smokey. I also need some hair products. I got shampoo and conditioner, but they didn’t have the Fructis hair cream I’ve been using. I really like it, so I wanted to get more, but I’ll have to wait. I also need to get some more skin care products. I’ve been using Clean & Clear acne cream, and I’m about out. It seems to work the best, which is surprising since most of the other Clean & Clear stuff I’ve used has caused me to break out. I’m not sure why either. It’s weird. Hopefully we’ll go by the store today or tomorrow.
I dropped my car off at the shop last night. I’m hoping to hear back on what’s wrong with it. I’m hoping that it will be something cheap that works to fix the problem. I probably shouldn’t hold my breath, though, since nothing else seems to have worked so far. There’s always hope, though, I suppose.

I love dogs. Some of my fondest memories are of the first dog I ever got. Her name was Chelsea, and she was a little dog. She lived a long, happy life, and she was, honestly, the best dog I’ve ever seen. When she passed away from old age, I was terribly upset. The idea of getting another dog just didn’t feel right at the time. However, as time has gone by, the idea of getting a new dog has been something I’ve really been considering. I think I would like to have another small dog. He or she wouldn’t be a comparison to Chelsea, of course, but I do like smaller dogs.
Personally, I think that Yorkshire Terrier puppies are simply adorable and would be the sort of dog I would like to get. Through the website MoonlightKennels.com, you can find puppies, such as Yorkshire Terriers or Miniature Schnauzers, for sale. Not only can you find the right puppy for you, they also have an introduction on each puppy to help you learn more about them.

I finally got me books today. I was beginning to wonder if they would ever come. Luckily, they arrived today. In all three classes, they said we’d have some reading assignments, so it made me a little worried about not having them. Class last night only lasted for about an hour. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be too bad of a class. It’s mostly about prepress stuff. My grandpa should be happy to hear that because he keeps asking me if we’ve talked about that.
I’m going to try to do some writing today. I’ll have to get all of my notes out to refer to. We could really use a larger desk in here because there isn’t a whole lot of work space. I need one of those executive desks when it comes to writing because I usually have a notebook and a couple of folders full of things to refer to and it’s hard to find them when they’re all piled on top of each other. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’d be able to fit a bigger desk in here. :( I’ll just have to make due.
