1. Who is your all-time favourite artist?
I think it should be obvious by now that my favorite band is Hanson, and though they are a band, they are three individual artists and I really like each of them for their own reasons.

2. What is your all-time favourite song?
This is an insane question to ask me because that’s just too hard to answer. But I do have this insane love for the song “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John as well as “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

3. Who have you seen in concert or have met personally?
I’ve seen lots of people in concert. Unfortunately, I haven’t ever met any of them personally, but the most recent concert I’ve been to was to see Def Leppard, Reo Speedwagon and Styx.

AccessoryGeeks.com

Everyone knows that it will not suffice just to have a cell. Once you have a cell phone, it seems equally important to make your cell unique, either by way of special ring tones or by accessorizing it. Even my grandparents have cases for their cell phones. My grandpa’s is camouflage while my grandma’s is cute and pink. AccessoryGeeks.com offers up a great place to add a little “bling,” as my niece would call it, to your cell phone, but you can also purchase things like a cellular battery , a Bluetooth headset, a charger, or a case. They also have accessories for MP3 players, so you can also make sure you have everything you need to make your MP3 player secure and safe as well as stylish and unique.

The Walk

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Even though I got Hanson’s new album The Walk last Tuesday, I hadn’t really sat down and listened to it. Granted, I already had the Japanese import, so the first 14 songs are the same on both albums. The US release has a couple of new songs on it as well, and I think they’re addition has only strengthened my love for this album. I really love the song “Got A Hold On Me.” Of course, I loved it the second I heard a clip of it on the Taking the Walk podcast, so I was extremely happy to find out that it would be a bonus track on the US release. I can’t even hardly tell that it’s a live acoustic version either, which just goes to show how great they sound live. I also like “I’ve Been Down,” but I’d heard it already from one of the “Go” singles. I also really love the live acoustic version of “Something Going Round.” It’s a good song, and I love the way it sounds kind of broken down a bit. I should probably write a full album review, or add to the one I already did to include my thoughts on the three bonus tracks.

Low Interest Credit Cards

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

I’ve been considering applying for a credit card. I’m getting old enough that I need to start trying to build my credit, and in the past I’ve shied away from applying for a credit card just because I don’t particularly trust myself with the freedom to speed and repay later. I think I’m getting better as I get older, which is why I’m leaning more toward trying to get a low interest credit card. Creditnet.com seems like a good source for help when trying to find the right credit card, though. They give you the ability to search and apply online for various credit cards, and they even have a discussion forum and answers to your financial questions.

Dieting Again

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

So I’ve started back on Weight Watchers. I did fine today. Grandma and I went to get groceries, and we planned the meals before we left. I also picked up some microwave dinners from Healthy Choice and Lean Cuisine just to try. I’m also supposed to start walking with my mom again tomorrow. I’m kind of looking forward to that. If other people could see that it looked like I was losing weight, then I tend to credit all of that to walking and sort of toning my body since I haven’t actually lost any weight. My shoulders are also feeling better now. I’m peeling and it itches, but the blisters that were on my shoulders seem to be going away.
