Finals! Eep!
Saturday, December 1st, 2007

I hate how some pages just seem to have pop ups whether you have a popup blocker or not. It’s quite annoying. I will say that it’s not nearly as bad now that I use Firefox, but even so. I guess I’m just used to not getting any pop ups so that when even one or two pops up, it’s annoying.

I can’t believe that it’s December already. Insane. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. It seems unreal, and it seems like so much has happened. I’ll be finished with this semester on the 15th of the month. I’m anxious, but at the same time I have finals to get through first. I have a lot of work ahead of me, so I have a feeling I’ll be dedicating a lot of time to lab hours as well as time at home just to get everything done. Lord, help me!

PC to Mac?
Monday, June 25th, 2007

I’ve been thinking about getting a Macbook lately. I really want a laptop, and I’m really interesting in giving Mac a try. I’ve always been a PC user, so it would be a bit of a change. That makes me kind of nervous, but I’ve always heard that Mac is preferably for the creative side of things. Obviously, I’m not planning to run out and buy one right this minute, but I’m definitely interested in trying it out. I just wish there was an Apple store closer to where I live. There is one in Indianapolis, but that’s about an hour or so away. I don’t know. I’m just really curious about giving it a try.

I also downloaded and installed Safari the other night. I’d tried to install it before, but for some reason it just didn’t want to load right. I’m not sure what was different this time. I really like the interface on it. It’s just really clean and uncluttered, unlike Firefox. But I guess I can’t complain about that too terrible much. After all, I the one who installed all of the extension that made it get all cluttered up. Oops.

I’m about finished listening to The Shining on audio book. I think I have about an hour and a half of it left to listen to. I might do that tonight while I’m working on some stuff. I couldn’t find anything on TV tonight, so I really don’t have anything better to do. Although, I have been meaning to start rereading the Harry Potter books. I need a bit of a refresher before Deathly Hallows comes out. When Nikki comes to visit we’re both going to go pre-order our books. I think we’re going to get them from Wal-Mart. When I looked around online, it looked like they had the best prices. I might call around first and check and make sure before I actually go and pre-order. I’m a bit of a penny pincher like my mom. Oh well. At least I got it honest, right? ;)
