I went shopping with my mom this past weekend. That seems to be her favorite pasttime because she goes about every weekend. I find it odd because she’s always complaining about not having money for this or that, but whatever. Anyway, we went to this new outdoor mall that’s out of town. It’s really new. They’re still putting in stores, so there really wasn’t a whole lot of places to go, but we did go to JC Penny. The one there was significantly larger than the one closer to us.
I didn’t find a whole lot of stuff, but I think that’s mostly because I’m picky about how much I’ll pay for stuff. I did manage to find a pair of capris for about $12, which was cool because I don’t know have but a couple of pairs.
Aside of JC Penny, we went into Stein Mart, Payless Shoe Source, and some other shoe store that my mom wanted to look at. They had some serious ugly going on in there. Ugh.
We wanted to go to Old Navy, but it wasn’t in yet. Kind of annoying since they had signs up in random places. The only other huge store they had there was Dick’s Sporting Goods. Naturally, we aren’t that interested in golf bags and baseball mitts. My mom even said, “Who wants to go in there?” And, of course, when we got back to my mom’s place, Bart was there and we mentioned it to him and he said, “Oh, I’d like to go in there and look around sometime.”
Go figure.

So, let’s see - I’m stressed. Lots of stuff for finals to finish and not enough hours in the day. I was nominated for some award for my “achievements.” Whatever those are. I get to graduate with honors because of my “outstanding academic accomplishments.” So, apparently someone thinks I’ve achieved or accomplished something worth while. I’m too stressed to reflect right now.
I feel as though I scoured every store in town Friday evening looking for something to wear to give my presentations at the end of the semester. Tried lots of things on, but didn’t have much luck in the way of anything that I deemed appropriate. I’m guessing my breasts probably shouldn’t by hanging out for this sort of thing. Not that they typically are, but someone thinks that nice tops require lots of cleavage. I’m not a fan of the cleavage, I must admit, but then again, that’s just me.
Also, Friday morning we had an EARTHQUAKE. In Indiana. No joke. It woke me up around 5:30 in the morning. I jumped up and said,”What the hell is going on?” My room was shaking and I was tired and confused and I didn’t like it one bit.
So, I’m feeling less than lovey toward Hanson right now, but I have to admit that the “Let’s Get It On” and “Lovefool” singage has made me feel a little warm and cuddly toward them. Only a little. It would be more if Zac showered. *cough* For anyone that’s confused and thinks I’m crazy, I’m referring to their interview on WZPL the other day while they were in Indianapolis.
I also feel like my head might explode from Twilight overload. Over the last few days I finally had a chance to catch up in the Twilight communities I’m a member of and I’ve seen a handful of Twilight related videos, all of which consisting of RPattz!Edward Cullen yumminess and I melted into a puddle of mush. The fact I have to wait until December for this movie is killing me. And I need Breaking Dawn, like 3 months ago, please. I’m embarrassed to admit the number of times I’ve read Twilight. ‘Tis insane. Possibly obsessive. I just can’t help myself.
So sometimes this week I’m going to have to go back out on the hunt for a decent shirt to wear, and I also need to buy a new a new flash drive. I already have two usb flash drives, but they’re both getting full, and at this point, I really can’t get rid of anything because the minute I do, I’ll need something off of it because that’s just my luck.
So I think I’m going to work on some more stuff for class tomorrow because I head to bed. I feel like I am a slave to the school. I spent Friday and Saturday there. My current hobbies consist of homework, Twilight fangirling, homework, reading Twilight fan fiction, homework, reading riveting Dramione fiction that makes me check daily to see it’s been updated, homework, sleep, homework, watching Veronica Mars and homework. Pathetic.

I went shopping last Friday with my grandma and found some really good buys at Goody’s. I got three shirts and some yoga pants for about $40. Score! I was really excited. I’ve been in dire need of some new shirts.
The spring semester of classes started today. I had two classes, and I felt dead the whole time I was in both. I am not a morning person.
Then I hung out with Shakti and her boyfriend, Keith, between classes. We ate at Burger King and then hung out at her apartment. Then we were almost late for our next class because it was later than we thought. Why must time fly when you’re having fun?
I found out today that the Humane Society chose to use my template for their info cards, which is really just awesome. And Shakti said she saw one of my Rescue Mission posters hanging up in the hospital. Awesome, again. I’m hoping to spot one while I’m out and about. Kyle said he’d try to get a copy for everyone in the class.
I also have to buy a portfolio binder, which is going to be pricey, but necessary. I’m not looking forward to doing presentations and such this semester, but I suppose it’s a necessary evil. Too bad I totally just spent about $100 on bras and some hoodies. I need to learn more about how to manage my money. I’m terrible.
I was totally rocking out in my car on the way home. I love my iPod adapter. If I had the money, I would so be getting some sweet car spoilers on my car. Of course, if I had the money, I’d be buying myself a car that wasn’t a piece of poo.
The best part of the day, though? It had to be hearing “Something Going Round” by Hanson playing in Burger King during lunch. Oh yeah.

It’s been a few days since I’ve blogged. Oops! I went shopping with my mom yesterday. We went to Kohls, Fashion Bug, Goody’s, the mall and then finally Wal-Mart. I bought a few things while we were shopping. I got a new pair of shoes, a couple of shirts, and then some stuff from Bath and Body Works. I also bought Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer, but I ordered them from Overstock.com.
I had an appointment to get my eyes checked at Wal-Mart, and I picked out some new frames. I’m so anxious to get them. I hate the ones I have now. I went back to wire frames, and I upgraded to the option where my lens are even thinner than they are now. I had to pay $30 of that, but I figured it was worth it.
My mom also by Trivial Pursuit - 80s, 90s and Pop Culture, and after picking up Trey and going to eat at Steak -n- Shake, we came here and Bart met us and we all played the game. Allyson even came out after she got off of work and played the game too. Her and Trey were a team and they wound up winning. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to hang out with the family and do something together.
I forgot to look while I was at Wal-Mart. I wanted to pick up some new notebooks and pens. I got a new idea for a story, and I need a new notebook to use for keep notes. And I need new pens because they seem to disappear around here, and I’m picky about the kind of pen I’ll use. It’s weird, but it’s just one of my many quirks. I need to order some promotional pens with my name or something like that on them so that people will quit stealing them from me! Makes me angry. Oh well. I’ll live.

My mom likes to forward emails to me that she gets from her friends. Normally, I don’t like forwards, but a lot of the ones my mom sends are pretty funny. I suppose that just goes to show how similar our senses of humor are. She sent me one yesterday with the subject ‘Reason For “Holy Shit.’” I have to admit that they were pretty amusing to look at.
This one, as pictured below, looks like someone has been using a little bit too much creatine ethyl ester. Honestly, though, I’m not sure if the picture is even real. There were quite a few of them that I wasn’t really sure about. Either way, they were fun to look at. Good for a laugh.

Speaking of my mom, I went shopping with her yesterday. I finished the last of my Christmas shopping and bought my brother’s birthday present. Overall, it wasn’t too terribly bad at the stores. A bit crowded, but nothing like Black Friday. My mom also took Tori and got her ears pierced. It cost $30, which is just insane. I was really surprised, though, because Tori didn’t cry. She’s tougher than me. That’s for sure.
