I spent an insane amount of my day yesterday working on a new set of icons for my community Glimmericons. Since I hadn’t updated in over a month, I thought I should try to make a big post to make up for it. I think I succeeded. I wound posting over 200 icons and a few wallpapers I’d made over the last few weeks. Sadly, I didn’t get to icon everything I was thinking of. Maybe next time. But I think I need a break before I try to make another batch. My brain is fried.

I’ve honestly had one of those days where I just feel like I never fully woke up. It was a really dreary day, so I think that had a lot to do with it. I just didn’t feel like doing anything at all when I woke up. I slept in really late and was still tired when I got up. I did manage to do my laundry. I sitll have to fold it all though. It’s sitting in a basket on my bed, and I may try to fold it all before I go to bed. I think it’s probably too late to worry about it wrinkling.

I spent most of the day listening to The Shining by Stephen King on audiobook and making icons for the icon community. I managed to get a batch made and posted. It had been about a month since my last post, and I doubt I’ll be making one in July, and if I do, it’s going to be at the tail end of the month, so I wanted to get that done.

I’ve been listening to the news too, and I listened to the press conference that had about Jessie Davis. I just felt so incredibly sad when they said they found a body that they thought was her. I think on some level it was expected, but even though it was expected, you still hope for the best. I don’t want to assume too much since the whole “innocent until proven guilty” thing but her boyfriend/the father of her children sounds pretty shady considering he was cavorting all around with different woman and having kids when he was married to someone else. I don’t know. I’m just really saddened by the whole thing. :(

- Let’s see. I don’t think I have much to update about. I’ve been watching a lot of movies this week. I watched Bully, Dahmer, and Ed Gein. All of them were about real people. And all of them were weird. It’s going to take me weeks to get over the strangeness. I’ve also been watching the first season of Sex and the City. I loved this show so much. And I’ve been rewatching The Tribe, and I feel like I’m reliving my second childhood. Well, my teenage years anyway.

- We’re having a cook out this weekend, but I’m not sure if we’re having it Sunday or Monday, but it will be really nice with the deck.

- I’ve been working on a new batch of icons. Lots of Harry Potter and Hanson coming this way.

- I have a ton of interest icons to make. Have I even started? No.

- I need a hair cut. I keep telling myself I’m going to grow my hair long again, but anytime it gets to the point it is now, I just decide to chop it off again. Blah.

- I have 14 hours of lab time to do in the next four weeks. Double blah.

- M&M’s are yummy.
