I had to rewrite this paper for one of my classes. It was talking about our goals. We have to write five for about five differente stages of our lives, and talk about what goals we had, why they were important and how we plan to accomplish them. Three pages later and I’m done. It was actually kind of hard to write because I’m not really sure about a lot of things.

I did talk about wanting to take a road trip with friends and visit different places, see a few concerts. I talked about holing up in a Vegas hotel too. Just thinking about doing stuff like that makes me eager to get out of school and get a real job, making serious money so I can do stuff like that.

Of course, the actual reality of the real world is still daunting, but I guess you’ve got to enter that world at some point.

Tonight Nikki and I spent most of the night playing Rummikub with my grandma. It’s easily one of the most mind numbing games ever. Every so often one of us would fudge make some weird mistake in the game. At one point Nikki actually just rearranged some of the pieces out of the table without even bothing to lay down anything off of her own board. We all laughed for a few minutes over that. Nikki shall never live it down. Tonight we’re working on decorating the purses we bought at Target. I’m still undecided about lyrics, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

We were talking last night about school, and I can’t believe that in a year I’ll be graduating. We started talking about what I might do after I finish. I’m still undecided about what specific area of graphic design I want to go into, but Nikki and I have talked about either her moving here or me moving to Ohio. We’d have to find an apartment, but at least there’s the option of looking at places online through sites like ellijay real estate, which makes things so much easier. I guess I’ll just have to wait until after I finish school and see what kind of jobs are available and go from there.
