Tons To Do
Monday, October 15th, 2007I have tons of stuff I need to do over the next couple of days. I have laundry to do, gifts to mail, as well stopping by the bank and gas station and going to get my matte board cut at Hobby Lobby. I still need to work on my Rescue Mission poster. I think the original one I made is as done as it’s going to get, but I think I’m going to sit down and start over tonight just to see if I can come up with something different.
My brother has been sick over the weekend, and my grandpa had to go to the doctor today. Health issues just bother me. I don’t like thinking about it. A couple of weeks ago my mom’s friend called and told her that she’d just found out that her mom had cancer. It’s scary to think about, especially since there’s a history of cancer in my family.
I guess the only relief I have is that cancer treatment is more advanced now, and if caught early, it can be treated and cured. There also seems to be more treatments available now, like the website MesotheliomaHelp.net, which obviously focuses on Mesothelioma cancer.
I should probably go see the doctor soon. Not because I think there’s anything wrong, but I haven’t had a physical in several years. It’s definitely long overdue. I just don’t like doctor, and I especially hate the sound of that stupid crinkly paper they have the examination table. Oh, well, I guess I should just grin and bear it.
