I am going to make a new layout for this website. That’s what I’m going to do today because it’s been way to long since I made a new one. I may even upgrade WordPress, and possibly do a hostee clean up. I don’t have too many hostees on this domain, but the ones I do seem to have disappeared, and I can’t see much point in wasting space.

So the weather has been insane lately. One day it’s hot and humid, and it makes me want to grab my swimsuit and head for the pool, which should be an indication of how ick it really is, and the next it’s dark and dreary and cold and I just feel like crawling back into bed five minutes after I woke up.

Something’s got to give here. This is just crazy if you ask me. I know it’s still spring, not officially summer, but by this point the weather is usually pretty steady. The only thing that’s steady about the weather these days is that it’s unpredictable.

Yesterday was fun. We had my brother’s birthday party. The pizza was good, as was the cake and ice cream. Then Blaine open his gifts. He loved his present from me - Rob Zombie’s Halloween. He and Mitch watched it while Allyson, Trey, Bart, mom, grandma and me played Phase 10. Then I went to Wal-Mart with my mom, Bart, Blaine and Trey. We stopped by Culver’s for ice cream after we dropped off Trey. All in all, a good day.

I don’t have any plans for tonight. I think I’m just going to stay in and work on some random stuff I’ve been meaning to do. Not the most exciting way to ring in the New Year, but oh well.

I need to redo the layout here. Hopefully, I’ll be able to manage to come up with something. I’ve been trying for months. It’s ridiculous. I did manage to make a new layout for my fanlisting collective last night. One that I was actually pleased with, so apparently it’s possible.

My grandparents seem to be on the go a lot the last few days. Not that I’m really complaining. That means I get the house to myself, which is nice. They’ve been on the hunt for a new Bunn coffee maker. The old one broke, and it’s basically the only kind they’ll settle for since they’re so fast. They tried using another kind, but it just took too much time. Impatient bunch, they are.

I was looking at some Samsonite luggage, and while I don’t actually need any since I’ll probably never go anywhere, there was this red hardside one that I liked and thought looked so cool. I suppose I just have a thing for window shopping and thinking about what I’d buy if I had the money or need for something like that. I was doing a lot of the same the other day when I went shopping with my mom since I wasn’t able to find much in the way of my size of clothing. It’s so frustrating and annoying, but what can you do?

I’ve put up a new layout. I thought it was time for something new. I made it last night. It’s really simple, but I didn’t feel like setting it up last night. I went to bed a little after midnight, and I slept in until around ten. Then I got up and took a shower. Some of my sunburn is starting to peel, but my shoulders still hurt.

Tomorrow I’m starting back on Weight Watchers again. I had to stop for a few days. After going to Holiday World, trying to stick with my points was just next to impossible. I thought I’d just start again on Sunday and try again. My grandparents and Nikki both said they thought it looked like I’d lost some weight. I weighed myself and I haven’t actually lost any weight, but I think maybe my muscles have toned up a little from walking. Hopefully, my mom and I will start walking again on Monday as well. I need to get back into the habit.

I just put up a new theme. I decided to go back to using themes again because I still liked the last one I made, but I wanted to use the new one I made too. If you can’t see it, click on “Masterpiece” on the sidebar. I also added a few other things to the sidebar - the Recent Entries and Categories. I had to look around a bit to find a Category Cloud plugin that wasn’t overly complicated and actually worked.

I doubt I’ll win because I never win anything, but I figured I might as well give it a shot. If you haven’t already guessed, Hanson is my favorite band. Yes, really, and, yes, they’re still around. Their new album is out on July 24th, and speaking of which, I really need to preorder the album because I want the digital download. I already have the Japanese import of the album, but the US version has some new songs and comes with a DVD.

Nikki is coming to visit in 18 days. I’m so freakin’ excited. I can’t even explain. It’s been over a year since she last came to visit, and that was just for a weekend. This time it’s for 17 days. I can’t wait because I know it’s going to be tons of fun. Now I just need to figure out some stuff for us to do.

I think I’m having some server issues today. I’ve got a 404 message a few times. So annoying. Especially when you’re right in the middle of trying to do something. I think my internet connection seems awfully slow today too. I don’t know what the problem is. I’ve been trying to work on cleaning up my computer a bit. I tend to save things and then just let them sit on the computer for a long time. Last week I burned all of my school projects onto a CD and deleted them off of the computer. That stuff really adds up. I need to work on sorting through some other stuff too. I also deleted some programs that I just never use. Watch - now that they’re gone, I’ll probably need them. This is the story of my life.

I’ve also rediscovered my love for Michelle Branch today. I hadn’t listened to any of her CDs in a while, but I brought them up on iTunes today. I kind of miss her solo stuff. I like The Wreckers, but I also like Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp separately.
