I went shopping with my mom this past weekend. That seems to be her favorite pasttime because she goes about every weekend. I find it odd because she’s always complaining about not having money for this or that, but whatever. Anyway, we went to this new outdoor mall that’s out of town. It’s really new. They’re still putting in stores, so there really wasn’t a whole lot of places to go, but we did go to JC Penny. The one there was significantly larger than the one closer to us.

I didn’t find a whole lot of stuff, but I think that’s mostly because I’m picky about how much I’ll pay for stuff. I did manage to find a pair of capris for about $12, which was cool because I don’t know have but a couple of pairs.

Aside of JC Penny, we went into Stein Mart, Payless Shoe Source, and some other shoe store that my mom wanted to look at. They had some serious ugly going on in there. Ugh.

We wanted to go to Old Navy, but it wasn’t in yet. Kind of annoying since they had signs up in random places. The only other huge store they had there was Dick’s Sporting Goods. Naturally, we aren’t that interested in golf bags and baseball mitts. My mom even said, “Who wants to go in there?” And, of course, when we got back to my mom’s place, Bart was there and we mentioned it to him and he said, “Oh, I’d like to go in there and look around sometime.”

Go figure.

Mission: laundry has been accomplished. Now I have clean clothes once again. While I was folding and hanging up clothes, I realized that my gray t-shirt obsession seems to have switched to a red t-shirt obsession because I think I hung up around four or five red t-shirts together. I really need to buy some new shirts, but shopping will have to wait until after I’ve paid some bills. I hate being a grown up. Oh, how I long for the bill free days. At least I don’t have a bunch of credit cards. I can’t trust myself with those, so I just stay away from them.

My grandma made meatloaf for dinner last night, and it was really good. I love the topping she puts on it, but it kind of left me feeling a bit icky. I could taste it in my throat most of the night. The same thing seems ot happen when I eat tacos. I’m beginning to wonder if maybe it’s acid reflux or something like that. My mom and sister have both had problems with that, so it’s completely possible, but I really hope not.

My mom said she heard on something that babies get acid reflux, and her and my grandma were discussing whether or not that could be their new terminology for colic. My mom said if it was, then she could understand why my brother cried so much as a baby because it hurts. :(

- If I got a quarter every time I forgot what I was going to do, I swear I’d be rich.

- I think I wear my Great Divide t-shirt more than any of my others.

- It’s really nice out today. I wanted to go lay out in the sun. Instead, I went to class and then laid on the couch and watch ANTM reruns.

- Dr. Pepper is the best.

- I like singing along with City Girl by Tegan and Sara even though I know I sound horrible.

- I actually styled my hair and wore make-up today. I felt … pretty. Rare.

- Finding old jeans in the back of the closet and discovering they still fit well is great.

- AIM, y u so lame and keep disconnecting and reconnecting on me? That’s so unkewl.

- The world may end because … I’m in a good mood!
