Hording, Configuring, and Discovering
Thursday, March 13th, 2008

All those times I’ve found myself searching all of my room for a pen, and just in the last week, I think I’ve discovered all of the Papermate pens I’ve ever bought.

I also discovered a pair of shoes under my bed, still in the box that I’ve never wore. I vaguely remember buying them - two years ago. How ridiculous is that? At least once I get my new bed, I’ll only have half the space to shove stuff under.

It’ll be weird sleeping in a twin size bed after having a full size, but the downsize was necessary. I don’t have a whole lot of space to work with in my bedroom, and it took a lot of reconfiguring to get things to a place where everything will fit.

Honestly, though, at the moment I’m most proud of my closet because I went through all of my stuff. I got rid of a lot of clothes, and I’ve managed to store a lot of a stuff in there, in an organized way instead of having it all shoved in there and hoping it wouldn’t fall out and knock me over.

Spring Cleaning
Thursday, March 13th, 2008

I haven’t blogged in so long, and I feel terrible. I’ve been insanely busy. I’m on spring break right now, but it’s hardly been much of a break. I bought a new computer, and in order to get the thing in my bedroom, I’ve had to do some major rearranging. I’ve bought a new bed and a desk, and I’ve been going through all of my old junk, getting rid of stuff I don’t need. It’s amazing how much junk you can collect without even realizing it. I think I’ve got my desk mostly in order. It would be nice, though, if I had a speaker mount for my speakers because right now they’re kind of behind my monitor - not so much that I can’t hear then, but if they were better placed, it would be nice. So I’ve got some more cleaning up to do, but I’m sure I’ll have plenty more to post about as my spring cleaning continues.

Summer (Computer) Cleaning
Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

I think I’m having some server issues today. I’ve got a 404 message a few times. So annoying. Especially when you’re right in the middle of trying to do something. I think my internet connection seems awfully slow today too. I don’t know what the problem is. I’ve been trying to work on cleaning up my computer a bit. I tend to save things and then just let them sit on the computer for a long time. Last week I burned all of my school projects onto a CD and deleted them off of the computer. That stuff really adds up. I need to work on sorting through some other stuff too. I also deleted some programs that I just never use. Watch - now that they’re gone, I’ll probably need them. This is the story of my life.

I’ve also rediscovered my love for Michelle Branch today. I hadn’t listened to any of her CDs in a while, but I brought them up on iTunes today. I kind of miss her solo stuff. I like The Wreckers, but I also like Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp separately.

Today is … Tuesday? I think.
Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

I really think my sister’s graduation party has me confused. Remember me saying that Sunday felt like Monday? Well, Tuesday feels like Wednesday. All day I’ve been walking around thinking that it was Wednesday. Then I went to program Traveler tonight and realized that it’s not on until tomorrow. That was kind of disappointing because I was really looking forward to watching it tonight.

I really need to start my laundry, but I just haven’t felt like doing it yet. If I had to go anywhere tomorrow, it would be a bit of a problem since about the only thing I still have clean to where is pajamas. So I guess I’ll get myself into gear and start my laundry in a few. After I get that started, I think I’m going to try to do some writing. I have a story due July 1st, and while I’m getting closer to finishing, I still have the whole editing process left to go after it’s done, so I think I probably just need a kick in the butt to get going with it. *le sigh*
