*puts on a chef’s hat*
Friday, July 20th, 2007

Nikki and I went to see Order of the Phoenix again last night. We didn’t have much else to do, and I saw that it was still showing. This time was dramatically different from the first. Last time the theater was completely packed. This time there probably wasn’t more than 30 people in the theater. It was nice, though, because we basically had our choice of any seats.

We also put the designs on our purses. I love the way mine turned out. I’ll have to take pictures. Nikki and I are planning to make dinner tonight. I keep wanting to say tomorrow since it’s just after midnight. We made out our menu. We’re going to have chicken dijon, cheesy oven fries, steamed broccoli, and strawberry sorbet. We got a couple of recipes from the Alli website and another from one of my books. We’ve been doing really well with our diets so far. I’ve given up on weighing myself to see if I’ve lost any weight. I probably won’t check again until late next week when I do. I haven’t been feeling as hungry, though, and I really haven’t been using my flex points. Actually, Wednesday and Thursday I didn’t even use all of my points.

And I’m so excited because this time tomorrow I’ll be reading Deathly Hallows.

Home Decor and Scrapbooking
Saturday, July 14th, 2007

It’s definitely Saturday. I wanted to sleep in and do nothing this morning. When I woke up, Nikki and I watched a show where people were getting a room made over. They went to the flea market and garage sales to find home furniture to use in their rooms. The second one we watched like that was kind of weird. I didn’t really like what they did with the room. Instead of a guest room, it looked like something for a 15-year-old girl.

I think today we’re going to work on scrapbooking. We really can’t go anywhere because they’re getting ready to chip seal our road, and yesterday they came down and put oil down. I’m sure my car would be a massive mess if I tried to drive down it since it’s white. Besides, we have a lot of scrapbooking to do anyway. That should keep us busy for a while.

Come dinner time we’ll get to try to figure out what we’re allowed to have to eat. I think we’re both sticking with our diets pretty well. It’s just kind of hard trying to keep track of every little thing. I think it’s harder for Nikki since she has to count calories and how many grams of fat are in what she’s having to eat. I just have to keep track of points. Fun stuff.
