I’ve been up since eight this morning. I got up and took my shower and ate breakfast before we left to go pick up Blaine. It didn’t take as long as I thought it might. When we came back, my grandpa had to go into Lowe’s to pick up something, and while we were up there, I had them go by the movie theater to buy tickets for Order of the Phoenix. When I looked online, it said their earliest showing was 11:30 tomorrow, but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised to find out they were having a showing at 12:05. The best part? I got the first tickets for the first showing at our theater. 1 – 3. Woohoo! I’m so excited. I’m sure Nikki will be thrilled to find that out too.
I’m really starting to feel Weight Watchers already. It’s amazing to realize your portions for meals. Like today for lunch I had a bacon sandwich, and I had to use about half the mayo I normally would and had to count how much bacon I put on my sandwich. I’ve been feeling a little hungry. Mostly because I’m used to snacking, but I haven’t been able to. I figure I’ll probably use some of my flex points tonight for dinner. I think, overall, I’m doing okay. I’ll just have to get used to it.
So I was just thinking about how next month is August, and even though my mom has been feeling completely murderous toward Bart since the concert, his birthday is coming up next month. I don’t think she’s going to do anything extravagant like she did for his 40th birthday since this isn’t really a big one. I kind of think she should get him a truck toolbox or something since he always seems to be going around looking at everyone’s car when something goes wrong. Windshield wipers, brakes … anything like that and my mom, sister and I call Bart to come fix it, so why not have his tools in his truck at all times? I don’t know. It’s just a suggestion.
